It was originally special ordered by a school in Washington State, but we couldn’t get it to them at a reasonable shipping cost within their deadline. Since then, Wilderness Systems discontinued the Polaris 180T — which means tandems in this price range are getting harder to find and will be worth real money someday.
It’s a shame, because these boats have a real history. We’ve sold these boats to expeditions heading to Antarctica, couples paddling around Nova Scotia, and teams taking on big-water adventures.
